Statue Tours and Artist Talks

Meet at Ringo statue–110 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Madison

Spend your lunch break with Bucky! Join members of the Greater Madison Convention & Visitors Bureau and Madison Area Sports Commission for a fun and informational tour of the Bucky statues located around and inside the Capitol building. You’ll learn behind-the-scenes details about the Bucky on Parade project as well as interesting facts about statues such as Lucky Bucky, Bucky on Guard and Sconnie B. Goode.

This tour will last approximately 30 minutes, weather permitting.

Bucky on Parade Artist Day

Stop by your favorite statues—or those not yet discovered—and you may run into some artists! Bucky on Parade artists are invited to be at their statues on this day to talk about their inspiration, materials and answer those burning Bucky questions you’ve been saving up all summer.
